2. Our Services

Black Eagle Recovery is a direct, in-house vehicle recovery and roadside assistance provider. All recovery, transport, and roadside services are carried out by our own employed or contracted in-house team using our own equipment and vehicles. We do not act as a broker, intermediary, or introducer for third-party recovery operators.

Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Car and van recovery and towing
  • Roadside assistance and breakdown support
  • Wrong fuel recovery and drain services
  • Motorway and smart motorway recovery
  • Supercar and prestige vehicle transport (flatbed only)
  • Electric vehicle (EV) recovery and transport
  • Fleet account recovery services for businesses

We operate primarily across London, Kent, Essex, and the South East of England, with coverage extending to the M25 corridor and beyond for specialist transport jobs.

3. Requesting a Service

When you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, or via our website contact form, you are making a request for us to provide a recovery or assistance service. A service request is accepted when we confirm that one of our in-house team has been dispatched to your location.

You must provide accurate information about your location, vehicle make and model, registration number, and the nature of the situation. Providing false or misleading information may result in delays, additional charges, or cancellation of your request.

Emergency situations: If you are in a live-lane motorway emergency or your safety is at immediate risk, please call 999 before contacting us.

4. Pricing and Payment

Pricing for recovery services is provided at the time of booking and will vary depending on the nature of the job, vehicle type, distance, time of day, and other relevant factors. All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking. We reserve the right to require payment or a deposit before dispatching our team in certain circumstances, including but not limited to long-distance transport jobs and specialist vehicle recovery.

Any additional charges arising from unforeseen circumstances — such as additional mileage, specialist equipment requirements, or storage — will be communicated to you as soon as reasonably practicable and will require your agreement before being incurred where possible.

Fleet accounts: Businesses holding a Black Eagle Recovery fleet account are subject to the payment terms set out in their individual account agreement, which may include 30-day payment terms and VAT invoicing.

5. Cancellations

You may cancel a service request at any time before our team arrives at your location. However, if a member of our team has already been dispatched and is en route, a cancellation fee may apply to cover travel time and costs. This will be communicated to you at the time of cancellation.

We reserve the right to cancel a service request if the job falls outside our current operational coverage, if the information provided is inaccurate or incomplete, or if attendance would pose a risk to our team's safety. In such cases, no charge will be made.

6. Our Liability

We carry full goods-in-transit insurance and public liability insurance. We take all reasonable care in the recovery and transport of your vehicle. Our liability is set out as follows:

  • We are liable for damage to your vehicle caused directly by our negligence or that of our in-house team during the course of a recovery or transport service.
  • We are not liable for any pre-existing damage to your vehicle, damage caused by the breakdown or accident itself, or damage resulting from inaccurate information provided by you.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic losses arising from delays, cancellations, or service failures beyond our reasonable control.
  • Our total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that service, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable UK law.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable UK law.

7. Service Standards

Black Eagle Recovery is committed to delivering a professional, safe, and high-quality service on every job. As an ISO 9001:2015 certified business, we maintain documented quality management procedures covering:

  • Safe loading and securing of vehicles on our flatbed and recovery trucks
  • Compliance with all applicable road traffic and health and safety legislation
  • Professional and courteous conduct by all team members
  • Prompt communication regarding estimated arrival times and any delays
  • Proper handling of prestige, supercar, and electric vehicles

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us using the details in Section 1. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 5 working days.

8. Vehicle Storage

If your vehicle is recovered to a storage facility, storage charges may apply after the first 24 hours. We will inform you of any applicable storage charges at the time of recovery. Vehicles left in storage for more than 14 days without payment arrangement may be subject to further action in accordance with the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977.
